  • Responsible for teaching courses in Environmental Management and Marketing in several universities, post-graduate MSCs and schools of management (SDA-Bocconi, SIAF)
  • With other colleagues from the Genoa University and the Turin Polytechnic, in 2006 he founded CESISP: the Inter-University Centre for Product Sustainability
  • As an independent expert, he is member of environmental committees within some third-party certification bodies
  • Co-ordinator of several studies on behalf of the European Commission (e.g.: SCP – Sustainable Consumption and Production Impact Assessment Study, PREFER: Product Environmental Footprint Enhanced by Regions, EVER: Evaluation of EMAS and Ecolabel for their Revision, Environment and Competitiveness, BRAVE: Better Regulation Aimed at Valorising Emas and Ecolabel and IMAGINE: Innovations for a “Made Green in Europe”)
